My name is Elizabeth Lyon-Duenas. I graduated with a Master’s in Social Work from Indiana University and my Bachelor's of Social Work degree is from the University of Southern Indiana. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have practiced since 2013.
My goal is to provide strengths based, trauma informed, and evidence based practices to improve quality of life and promote your long term recovery. My passion is to offer an all inclusive and safe environment to work with adult individuals struggling with addiction, low self-esteem, grief, depression, anxiety, and trauma. I am an ally and love providing affirming LGBTQ+ care, especially those from rural communities.
Through empathy, emotional safety, and a non-judgmental environment, I can create strong connections that is proven to help promote real healing in the therapeutic process. Although, all adults 18+ are welcome to meet and work with me, I love working with adults in their 20's as well as in their 50's, which are both times in adulthood that we typically experience a lot of life transition. I enjoy working with those in search of objective support and those who are motivated to meet their treatment goals. I enjoy instilling hope and empowering individuals to recover and thrive from their trauma, low self-esteem, grief, addiction, anger, shame, and resentment is my passion.
